Agreement and operator
Last updated: 2026-11-07. These terms govern your use of Glowfolio, an iPhone app operated under the name Glowfolio. By using the app you agree to these terms, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you do not agree, stop using and uninstall the app. The app is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
What the app does
Glowfolio is a creative reference tool for static-photo color layers, manual zone alignment, A/B comparisons, saved recipes, optional voice/text notes and readable exports. It does not provide real-time AR, face identification, skin analysis, medical advice, product recommendations or a guarantee of a physical makeup result. Color appearance depends on the screen, lighting, image and manual placement. Built-in color names are original references, not commercial shade matches.
License and acceptable use
Subject to these terms and the applicable App Store license terms, you may use the app for lawful personal purposes on an Apple device you own or control. Do not use it to infringe privacy or intellectual property, distribute unlawful content, misrepresent another person, evade security or interfere with services. Nothing here restricts rights granted by mandatory law.
Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in photos, recipes, text and recordings you create. You must have permission to use any material or likeness you import and to record anyone whose voice you capture. Granting a device permission is optional and can be withdrawn in iOS Settings. The app stores content locally; we do not acquire ownership of it or receive an automatic license to publish it. You decide what to export and to whom.
Built-in content and ownership
The app software, brand and original illustration, tutorials and reference palettes are protected by applicable rights. You may use the built-in samples inside the app and in your personal recipe exports. Do not redistribute the app, remove ownership notices or sell the built-in content library as a standalone product. Statutory exceptions and any separately disclosed third-party licenses continue to apply.
Saving, backup, deletion and exports
Keep copies of important work. Storage failure, device loss, uninstalling or deletion can make local material unavailable. iOS backup behavior depends on your settings and Apple’s services; Glowfolio does not guarantee backup or recovery. ZIP exports are readable copies and cannot be imported as an in-app restore backup. Deleting data in the app does not recall exports, messages, system Photos or copies held elsewhere. Review deletion confirmations carefully.
Price and external services
Version 1.0.0 has no in-app purchases, subscriptions or advertising. Public legal/support pages are delivered by Cloudflare; system media, backup and sharing features are supplied by Apple or destinations you choose. Those services have their own terms and policies. Your internet or device charges remain your responsibility.
Availability, updates and support
We may update features, content and these terms through app updates or revised pages. We do not promise uninterrupted availability of external pages or future operating-system compatibility. Core local features do not require an account or network. For support see the Support page or glowfolio@support.com; the address is provisional pending operational verification before store release. No guaranteed response time is offered.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app and illustrative content are supplied as available without a promise of fitness for a particular makeup result, product color match or uninterrupted operation. You are responsible for deciding whether to rely on creative references and where to share personal content. We do not exclude liability, consumer guarantees or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Nothing limits liability for fraud, intentional wrongdoing or other non-excludable liability. These terms do not override Apple’s mandatory license terms.
Ending use, disputes and contact
You may stop using the app at any time, export readable copies and delete your local personal data. These terms do not assign a specific governing jurisdiction because the operator’s legal location has not been established for this draft. Mandatory consumer law and access to competent courts or authorities remain available. No mandatory arbitration or waiver of statutory rights is imposed. Direct questions to the Support page. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective where lawful.
